Before you order

Which documents come with a shipment?

A commercial invoice, a packing list and a certificate of origin, plus health and halal certificates when your market asks for them.

Do you handle customs clearance?

We prepare every export document and coordinate with your customs broker. Use your own broker, or we can help you arrange one.

Which certifications and registrations does EDC hold?

Our food safety management system is certified to ISO 22000:2018 for chocolate production: certificate no. MAC/FSMS/SA/05/24 issued by Meyar Arabia Company, accredited by the Saudi Accreditation Center, valid until 2027. We follow HACCP protocols and are registered with the SFDA. Our factory is a member of the Saudi Made programme. All our products are halal. Documents on request.

How is chocolate protected in transit?

It is palletized to a load plan and moved with temperature-aware routing. On warm routes we coordinate with cold-chain partners.

What is the lead time?

Lead time depends on the product, quantity and packaging. We state it in writing in your quotation before you confirm the order.

For importers and distributors

What belongs in an export enquiry?

We prepare chocolate export quotations from our Riyadh factory around the products and destination requested. Supplying a market previously does not mean shipping or import conditions are identical for every order.

Specify market and products

Send the destination country and city, products and quantities, and whether you need ready-made collections or private label production. Other destinations are reviewed with the export team on request.

Review labels and documents

Share your importer's requirements, label language and requested documents. Available documents and information for the selected products are confirmed during the quotation discussion.

Agree delivery arrangements

Include the target arrival date and transport and storage requirements. Shipping arrangements, costs, responsibilities and the schedule are reviewed for each order before confirmation.
